What is the top benefit of working at Corporate Ink? It’s a great question, but if you ask anyone on our team, the response will be – “I can only choose one?”
It wasn’t easy, but we did our best to round off the top five benefits of being a part of the CI team.
At Corporate Ink we celebrate that no two minds think alike. Sharing ideas, making suggestions and trying new things all lead to one goal – progress. We’ve created an environment that when that light bulb goes off in your head, there’s no hesitation in bringing that idea to light.
Sharing an idea in a meeting can often be forgotten or put to the side, but as Inkers, we welcome new ideas and love trying them out. We believe a workplace that offers complete creative freedom allows us all to swim outside our lanes and defy expectations to shape our own company culture and the work we do for our clients.
As Senior Digital Marketing Specialist Brian Hunter says, “Insanity was defined by Albert Einstein as doing the same thing and expecting different results. We like to think we’re pretty sane people here at Corporate Ink, and we know that driving value doesn’t come from repetition. We like to try new things because we know it’ll bring great results.”
No matter the level, any suggestion brought to the table is heard – and prioritized.
Want to get better at SEO? Have a knack for social media marketing? Always wondered what goes into designing a website? As an Inker, the sky’s the limit – and the tools for growth are at your fingertips.
With professional development Friday’s and team workshops on everything from content writing to organization tips, there is always a chance to learn more. These trainings are a great way to collaborate and share all of the knowledge our team has.
We want work to be more than just a job. Our goal is to provide experience that gives our team tools, resources and perspectives that they’ll have with them for a lifetime.
“We’re lucky to learn from one another every day. I know if there is something I am passionate about, whether it’s in my job description or not, there are opportunities for me to grow that passion – and then apply it to my work.” – Senior Account Executive, Maeve Walsh.
At Corporate Ink, we recognize that to grow as an agency, we need to grow personally. As an Inker those opportunities are available on a daily basis.
The Corporate Ink team is a tight-knit, supportive community both in and out of the (virtual) office.
Sure, Covid put a damper on in-person bonding events, but we never let that deter us from getting together and having fun – even if it was through a screen. From virtual tarot card readings to wine tastings, we always find a way to stay engaged and unwind. The relationships are just as strong during work hours too – and it’s an added bonus that it helps us deliver some kick-butt work.
Close connections to those you work with creates an environment for transparency and collaboration. If there is a question you need to ask, a sentence you need gut checked or a suggestion on a byline title, we know that any one on our team is willing to help.
It’s no surprise that 60% of Americans say they struggle to keep a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. So often the work life balance isn’t supported by the first half – your place of work.
Being a Corporate Inker means having the ability to work flexible hours, work remotely and arguably the most important – take a break once in a while (ahem, Summer Fridays).
“Life happens – and I love that I don’t have to stress when I need to fit a vet appointment or a visit to the dentist in my schedule. We’re able to flex our hours so we can take care of client needs while also taking care of ourselves.” – Assistant Account Exec, Abbey Fletcher.
We’ve raved on about our internal team but there are a few team members we have yet to give a shout-out to – our awesome clients.
A huge factor in the passion we have for our agency can be found within our client base. We’re lucky to work alongside some incredible businesses in procurement, supply chain, technology and more. We are invested in their success just as much as they’re invested in ours which turns out some pretty amazing results.
Fellow Inker, Account Director Abbie Holmes puts it perfectly, “We work with incredible companies that are solving very real problems in their respective markets. The work we do is interesting and rewarding!”
These are only a few of the benefits that come with being a Corporate Inker. To find out what being a part of our team truly means, you’d have to join it – and luckily, we’re hiring! Discover our open positions here.
