July 7, 2023We did it, again.
The Boston Business Journal (BBJ) has named Corporate Ink to its 2023 Best Places to Work — the BBJ’s exclusive ranking of the Massachusetts companies that have built outstanding work environments for their people.
“The companies that comprise this year’s Best Places to Work are among the most diverse in the decades we’ve been doing this program,” said Carolyn Jones, Market President and Publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “Their commitment to teamwork, employee engagement, flexibility and trust are the model to which the region’s businesses look for inspiration.”
Corporate Ink’s award-winning workplace led to 100% employee retention throughout the Great Resignation – an unparalleled achievement that the BBJ profiled last summer in its story, What Great Resignation? These local companies are bucking the trend.
The BBJ recognition is the second straight workplace award for Corporate Ink. Last month, Ragan named Corporate Ink one of the top places to work in PR.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to create an engaging and best-in-class workplace,” said Greg Hakim, President of Corporate Ink. “We actively collaborate with our people to create an environment that energizes, inspires, and enables our team to be their best selves at work and home. This people-first mindset guides every decision and creates outsized impact for our team, clients and agency.”
To qualify for the BBJ award, eligible businesses participated in employee-engagement surveys distributed by Business Journal partner Quantum Workplace. Employees were asked to rate their work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, compensation, and benefits.
Here’s some of the anonymous comments submitted by the Corporate Ink team during the survey.
- “I would never work for another agency after working here.”
- “It’s a people-first agency that is on the forefront of ‘new age’ benefits”
- “PR is generally very competitive, and there is very little support among colleagues. Corporate Ink is bucking this trend with a people first agency where everyone supports one another. Everything is truly a team effort. We recognize big wins and build a culture that balances work and personal lives.”
- “I have never worked at a place like this and that is why retention has been near perfect.”
- “I really appreciate Corporate Ink’s aspirational culture, values, and ethics. We live in challenging times and through this, Corporate Ink has repeatedly demonstrated that the company and leadership value people first. I can’t imagine working anywhere else that could even come close to matching my needs, growth, and development, as well as CI does.”
- “I’ve worked for many PR agencies over my nearly 20-year career. The best decision I’ve ever made was to work for Corporate Ink. Leadership truly lives by our company’s mission to put our employees’ health, happiness and success first. When our employees are happy, they achieve great things for our clients, which in turn makes our clients happy.”
Corporate Ink will be recognized at The Best Places to Work celebration, which will be held in-person on June 16th at the Boston Park Plaza from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
